HR Intern

General objective of the internship


The HR intern gains knowledge, skills and experience by working with the HR Officer in providing administrative support.


Position in the organisation


The HR Intern is part of the Human Resources department reporting to the HR Officer.


Supporting HR Administration   

  • Receiving visitors, answering/transferring phone calls etc.;
  • Administrative tasks - photocopying; scanning/faxing documents;
  • Responds to enquiries by external people, providing needed information;
  • Take minutes of meeting for the Yalla Yalla and circulate it around staff;
  • Prepares vacancy texts based on JDs;
  • Copies the information of JDs in the right templates;
  • Receives and archives required documentation from staff members;
  • Supports the maintenance of up-to-date staff records;
  • Supports uploading of different documentation on SharePoint and One Drive;
  • Assists with travel arrangements and bookings for staff; 
  • Helps with updating of learning and competency records of staff;
  • Prepare pay slips and ask staff to sign it
  • Follow up on time sheet of all staff
  • Follow up on vacation request of all time sheet
  • Post vacancies in Daleel Madani
  • Screen Cv For new job vacancies
  • Prepare New Staff Documents and ask new staff to read and sign it.
  • Prepare all documents needed for the induction day
  • Fill in the insurance for new coming staff and scan it than send it to HR officer
  • Prepare interview report and CV for the interview.
  • Call candidate and ask them about the date of interview and sent them an email about the interview details
  • Prepare a file for new coming staff
  • Prepare expense and advance voucher


Knowledge and Experience


BA Degree in Administration or related major;



Well organised

Good computer skills ;

Fluency in Arabic and English;


Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy and confidentiality concerning HR issues;

Works well under pressure;


Cultural sensitivity;
